Yo.

Anyone here torn an ACL and still riding? It doesnt have to be torn from riding, but anyone gone through with the patellar tendon graft reconstruction and now rides a ski?

Anyone torn/ruptured an ACL riding? If wasteland has done it, it doesnt count because he's fragile

I would say, you would be looking at a minimum of 6 weeks, and then you would not be 100%.........

Yo, I ruptured mine 8 years ago, but feel it when I land or move quickly. I even played college football since then, but wondered if anyone else had actually done their ACL and rides still.

Yes, I tore my right ACL 3 years ago snowmobiling.
Went through surgery- patella graft and 30% of mincuis removed.
I was out of the water for 2 months then on my sit down for a month.
I rode with a CTI brace then last summer I was out in the surf and landed flat without my brace on- thought I blew it out again but was lucky and didn't. Now I wear my brace everytime I ride.

What! What!
I blew the ACL out of both knees and have had the patellar graft replacement in both. Left knee in '84 and right knee in '91. Started riding in '94. If you rehab it right you should be fine. Good Luck!

Ride on!

Nothing like these other cowboys, but did a partial ACL tear in the left that was repaired but scope and Menicus clean up on the right also by scope. No problem with launching the blaster on the knees, but my shoulder injury is not ready yet. Tore EVERYTHING except my tricep and have had 2 surguries so far! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Providers had his ACL done a while back. I think he's kind of retarded, as he was back on the water after something silly like a couple weeks.
