ive got a full 62t engine out of a 96 raider in my superjet. running a 650 head- 170psi, stator advanced 2 degrees and a beat up c4 chamber with a stock pump and hooker 9/15 and it has plenty of bottom.
you could run a limited b pipe chamber, open the top screw on the headpipe for more bottom end, raise the compression, msd enhancer or get a zeeltronics ignition for more timing to get the bottom end snap out of it. also running a lower pitched impeller will help the engine rev up as it will reduce the low rpm engine load.
the port timing on the 62t isnt much different than a 61x. exhaust port is around 1mm higher. what the 62t cylinder might lack in bottom end, it will make up for it in the mid range and top end.
