right now I have a 2 bolt system with no spring that is very tight not the stock one bolt system. I bought the bolt and lightened spring, and I was wondering how to install them correctly. I also have a lowered wamiltons pole bracket. just wondering waht the best way to install them are.

what is the two bolt system?
you should be able to take the "ears" on the bracket off or loosen them to make assembly easier springs arnt fun and the HD springs sometimes are way to strong, if you find your spring to strong tie it in the down position and heat it up with a touch

The system on the ski I bought had two small 2" or so bolt with two nuts on each bolt on the inside cavity of the pole. The bolts were tightened just enough to keep the pole stationary where you leave it but just loose enough that you can move it. The system was way to heavy. I think I actually got a handle on it but i think i need to grind a little off the small end of my spring to fit the long through bolt correctly with my shortened stock pole and lowered handlepole bracket. I am just wondering how much I should take off if someone already has done this.

Got it installed last night, but it isnt as strong as the one i have in my other ski. I guess I need to hit the weights more? I had to take about 1/2 inch off the short side of the spring to get it to line up with the bolt.

Get a piece of stainless tubing. Place it on the spring shaft that is touching the bracket, you can extend the spring leg a tad giving you more tension. You will need some help doing this.

Many here run the XMetal 2 bolt systems. Some from really loose to really stiff. I run mine to where it will hold it in place when lifted up, but when you have it lowered it will drop down. With this way the pole just floats with me. It is just about weightless when riding. Takes some getting use to. This is with an XMetal pole though. Other poles may have more weight at the end (Bar side) that makes the pole feel heavier. I have even raced my ski with this setup with no issues.
