Anyone in Northern Michigan??

hi,

Anyone in Northern Michigan (Traverse City area) that has a stand up that wants to ride? I like riding in West Bay, would go out in the big waters if I had someone to go with incase something happened. Also in August I will be going back to Grand Rapids to go to school if anyone down there wants to ride. Great site!!!

I know Grand Rapids has a few skiers on this site... lots of cool Michigan guys/gals on here, for sure..

I live in Marquette Michigan, so ya im live in Northern Michigan but you guys dont really understand when you say Northern MI cuz the UP is really North MI, jk. Anyways, I plan on going to wave rave with a buddy or two which is South of Traverse City I believe, but I dont think im going to make any other trips south this summer, cuz im inured anyways. But there are about 3-5 of us in the UP in my area that ride stand ups and 3 of us are into freestyle and wave riding.

My in-laws live in TC. I ride either east or west bay when I am up. I know for sure we will be up for Cherry Festival and last week of July for vacation. I'll give you a holler when I'm heading up. I often ride by myself and have not had any problems yet, but there are always boats in the bays if serious trouble arises.

yup im from grand rapids......as well as a few others....superrob, freestylegeek, mile9c1, white99z, justgood, i think thats all of us right around town......you should come down for pitt pass this weekend or if not make sure you hit up wava rave thats a good party for sure....

Miller, I will be on Silver lake July 1st - 6th. I'm sure you know where that is but if not it's just south of town near the corner of 31 and 37. My girlfriend and I will be out there on an SXR and a SJ. Silver Lake has a slolom ski course set up which is kind of fun to rip thru too...... Anyway, PM if you are interested in a ride. There is another guy that I may try to meet up with on Torch lake next week also.

My sister in-law lives there on Silver Lake. If I get a chance I might be over there during the weekend.

My father in-law heard Sunday is expecting north winds and the bays 8-9 footers. I will keep an eye on weather predictions but I will more than likely be on East Bay Sunday.

what ski do you have and what color is it ? I will keep an eye out for you. There are actually quite a few other standups on that like which is cool. We take the pontoon and the Jet Skis to the little island and chill quite a bit. Sunday I got suckered into tubing down some river but any other day I'll be out there. Look for a white/green SXR and a loud dark blue SJ....... Hope we can meet up........
