Anyone going to World Finals?

I'd like to go, but have never been before. I have heard to fly into Vegas and rent a car and drive over to Havasu.

But what days are best to see freestyle?

Where should I stay?

I found a schedule online. Amateur freestyle is on Friday. Pro is on Sunday.

Earlier in the week is kinda fun for you can sneak into the pits and check out all the rides easily. Crowds are much less. The real action is on Saturday/Sunday.

we have gone 4 times so far and I would say it starts thursday, do not expect too much vendors and stuff going on beforehand ,but we always go early so monday till monday basically, we will bring skis, i made the mistake once to leave them at home ....riding inbetween is the best to cool off.

Kelly and I where considering it after nothing went right for us at the nationals, but we have too much going on and they are still not 100% sure they are having sport spec so we're ganna pass this year. But anyways sometimes you can find a puddle jumper flight from Vegas or Pheonix into Havasu which is far nicer than the drive and just get a car there, but as for hotels the Nautical Inn is kind of cool because its where the finals use to be back in the day and its on the island, the Island Inn is one of the nicest but I would recommend the London Bridge resort is pretty cool if you get a room overlooking the waterway and its close to kokamo's. The Hampton and Travel lodge are decent if your looking for something cheaper. And for dinner you gatta hit Mudsharks, very good microbrew/pizza and pasta.
