Anyone from San Antonio, TX on the board?

So the Air Force flew me out to San Antonio, TX for my pilot medical this past Sunday and I'll be here until Wednesday. It turns out the testing tomorrow should be done by noon so I've got the rest of the day to do whatever I want.

If anyone is riding tomorrow and has room for an extra person I'd love to get some riding in. It beats the hell out of sitting around the hotel all day.

I'd also appreciate maybe some ideas of things to do/places to see in San Antonio. The only thing I've heard of is the Riverwalk which I think we are going to hit up tomorrow.

I think active military personnel can get a free Sea World day pass (any Bush Gardens park?)... free beer.

Riverwalk is cool, if you there at night check out Durty Nelly's (esp. on the weekend). It's an Irish pub and my fav. place. It is locted on the riverwalk in the Hilton Palacio del Rio, West Market and S. Alamo. (across from one of the riverboat "docks").

Yeah the worst part about this whole thing is that my orders say absolutely no drinking. I guess drinking can affect some of the tests.

I've had about every test someone can have. It has really sucked. I did get to see my heart pumping on an ultrasound today though. That was pretty cool.

Have a Coke and a smile. It's a lot of fun, so if you go to the Riverwalk just drop in for a few songs and eat some peanuts.
