i know Rick Roy used to run an SJ in freestyle with seadoo stickers on it and i know before Fish started riding for polaris he rode an SJ in pro-ski and he might have had seadoo stickers on that as well

Thanks. The reason I ask is because I sold a ski to a 25yr old guy recently and he claimed...well lots of things...it was sort of a seed of doubt situation. He seemed to know most of the story, but interjected himself into the story whenever possible. I couldn't tell, either he has led the most amazing life or is a total pathological liar that needs treatment.

this was probably going back 7 or 8 years ago if not more.... i know fish was on a kawi in 03 for the motosurf tour in the surf and that was 4 years ago.
did this guy you sold it to race or just claim to know who raced?

Adam Remillard. He said he raced a 93 squarenose from age 12 until 15. This would have been about 1995 until 1998. Ever heard of him? IJSBA has no results that old :-(

I knew a racer named Adam (never knew the last name)In the mid 90's Sport class racer Kinda of a tool.At that time there was a Seadoo bounty so if you ran their logo on a stand up they would pay out

minimum age to race ski back then was 15 or 16, so i highly doubt it, there wasn't a juniors class back then

Haha. Well if minimum age was 16 and this guy was 15 when he quit then he might need the therapy I mentioned.
He claimed that he raced a 1992 or 93 SN with stock graphics and a rebel flange sticker on the nose or lower handle pole. He said he was sponsored by some company that was around for only two or three years and that they gave him a set of twin dry pipes for his SJ that had dual thru-hull exhaust (no water box). Anyone ever head of twin dry pipes on a squarenose?
Maybe he just knew someone who actually raced and sorta painted himself into the story?

I dont remember any ski like that.Back then there was two tours.At least I think it was in that time frame.Im kinda old and have short term memory loss when it comes to a-holes
