Super Jet Anyone ever heard of this rideplate?

just another aftermarket parts maker that jumped on the band wagon and fizzled out when the jetski crash came. its an extended plate, so yea, it keep the nose down more than the stock plate.

Well one question I have is I'm starting to get some cavitation on my ski after I put my hooker 9/15 in. I have this ride plate, pro tec scoop Intake and a freestyle cone. If I get out in rough water my ski cavitates as I'm going over the rough water as well as if I leave the water it will do it for a second once I land. It never did this with my old 10/18 skat and did it before I added the stubby. Y'all think this could be something like a ride plate issue or more of a pump seal issue? My wear ring shouldn't be worn out as my ski has very low houra, and on flat water it does just fine. Anything else I should check or could this rideplate be causing it?

Yeah that's what I figured, I just didn't know if it not letting the ski sit down in the water far enough or what not could cause it. Ill have to slide my pump out a bit and make sure it not folded or pinched. I pulled the play off and all looked well but I know there is one area of the seal that kind of deformed where that lip is on the side that mates to the shoe. I think when I pulled it that part was at the top, now I think it's at the bottom. Idk if that could cause it but that's all I know that's really changed, unless its not slid in all the way. But I would figure the bolt holes wouldn't line up then.

Also could the porpoising and cavitating on chop be from the pro tec intake grate? I've never had experience with this brand and I know most choose worx grates but my protec is also scooped so idk if itd make much difference?

How to I check that tube? Do I put it in the water and look for bubbles or something? I don't feel like that is the prob though unless in some way installing the pump I jarred something loose because it just started this last time I put my pump in with the hooker and this time the pump install went pretty easily as I'd don't it before?
