anyone ever cut a YAM1100/1200 intake man down to fit a 62T

has anyone ever tried cutting a 1100 / 1200 non PV intake manifold down to a dual for the 62T 701? i have heard you can do this. bolt spacing, ect is the same? thanks. zig

i heard a long tim ago it does, but man, i hate to start hacking up a perfectly good intake, to find otherwise. and i don't have a set of 62t cses laying around here to check.

i think the reed block / stuffers are the same too....

lol. good one large K. man, i would if i could, but i am kinda thin on the yami parts. thats why i am wanting to "make" a 62t manifold.

you have to cut the middle cylinder out

the spacing is different
it doesnt just work by cutting one of the end

what I ment was like an OEM 38 manifold, just to check the reed block spacing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
