So I try out Pablo's ATP flame setup that he was having issues with. He was also having issues with his engine at the same time so I thought maybe the ignition was ok.
I put it in my ski and it cranked and worked perfectly in the driveway. "Ha ha. Told you so Gregg. It's fine"
Took it to the lake and put the ski in the water. It's leaking some from around the trim tube and the motor got some water on it as I was putting it in the water. Ignition not sparking. The brain has a light on it that lights with every spark. Nothing.
The next day I try it in tha garage again. Works perfect. I dump a cup of water on the engine and ebox. Then nothing again. Go figure.
I take it apart and check every wire and connection. They all seem good with no resistance on a voltmeter. I switch the Flame brain out for another without making any other changes. It works. I dump water over everything. It still works.
What's the deal with the other brain?
A partial short in a ground wire? (I have two)
? It has me stumped other than the brain has issues. I'm trying to wrap my head around what the physics answer is. The ebox is well sealed. No water inside at all.
