First day was pretty good. We have some more footage of steveowe when he gets done editing he will post up as well. We are using a waterproof camera from the middle of everything so timing is a little tough but there it is, my first backy attempt, (its towards the end, only second time in the ocean) We got steveowe attempting 4-5 times, his poor ski took a beating this weekend.

After reviewing the footage it seems we both hit the wave to soon and we need to wait till it starts to break a little bit..

My step mom likes to tinker with editing and did it all.

tip for jumping, hit the waves later. the steeper the better. you could have landed the flip if you hit it when it was breaking.

Thanks man, I couldnt really complain about the editing since she was chopping it all up and taking care of it for me (I havent uploaded video and was easier to let her fiddle with it) Thanks for the tip, I will try it next time I'm down there. It was super tough to do it the first time and hold on but I can't wait to try again. The water I was messing around in was less then 10 feet deep, we had better breaking waves in shallowier water but we are talking less then 5 feet.
