another defoaming question...

I have searched and it looks a pain and difficult but is it very time consuming?
When i did my footholds i didnt ski for weeks but i am more experienced with the tools now. It seems that alot of you guys have done it and you dont seem like the people to not ski for weeks on end!
does anyone rekon it can be done in a few weekends?
cheers
Dan

I would think you would defoam in a day working like non stop, most likely two days. plus a day to foam, day possibly two to glass back together. If you decide to reneforce the back end thats another 2 days. Plus you might as well add a scupper so add a day for that. So figure at least a week working like 3 hours a day

if you do it get your self a wire brush and a few extension bars for a drill and a shop vac.

both refoaming and glassing back together shouldnt take more than a day.

foaming takes about an hour and reglassing could be a few hours, depending on how much you lopped your ski up.

I defoamed my sons ski in under 2 hours. super easy with a couple 12 inch drill extentions and a 2 inch wire cup brush hooked to a die grinder. It eats that stuff like butter

Yes it can be done and you can drink a few beers while you instruct her on how to do it. :Banane01: :Banane01:

Thats kick ass, I need to get one of those that actually works!! All the ones I've gotten before have been broken and just lay there... (yup... lay there for that too..)
