So I've done a lot of reading about putting a 750 into a 440,
It's currently a Half 300 hull Half 440 hull with a 440. Has a custom-built expansion chamber, mariner down pipe, west coast manifold, and a 550 pump.
Been currently having a lot of problems with weak spark and just not really running that good to begin with.
I have this 750 laying around that I used in my jetjon but is out of commission at the moment and looks like for a while. When I purchased the manifold and exhaust system for the 440 I also got a brand-new never been used 16° stainless impeller and beautiful 440 pump that has a bored reduction cone and been blueprinted to the moon (looks like it was off an old race ski) $80 total!
I know I have to do some bulkhead reinforcement and exhaust work. I don't think that a 300 water box is going to be sufficient for a 760 (+1mm). That 16° impeller is definitely not steep enough.
This poor ski has been through ALOT and i don't want to give up on her.
Do you think a 750 with a 440 pump Will even be worth my time, Pretty broke at the moment but really want to get my ski back on the water.
