Air intake Bracket to ADA head????

I am puttin on my ADA girdled head and just noticed somthin. Dont know if it was new on the 08 (never seen it before), i have a braket that comes off between the carbs and FA that attaches to the stock head. Question, do i just remove this or what???

it's not new. you can remove it.

Thanks for the info, guess i had never seen it cuz my old ski already had a/m FA's on it.
