Im about to get the ada girdled setup with 35 cc domes. i think thats 185 psi. anyways, i already have a riva drypipe on my ski but other than that, the motor is stock. my jetting is stock as well with riva air cleaners on top. i was wondering if the jetting is goin to have to change after the head is installed. my comp. is 160/160 now so i dont know if that is a big enough difference to have to re-jet. thanks for advice.

RIVA DRY PIPE and stock jetting??????????

Sounds crazy.... specially if it is DRY instead of WET pipe.

Anyway... putting a higher compression head I am almoust sure U will definatelly need to re-jet. (pilot jet unless)

FPP recommends rejetting......... this is the same as the RIVA Freeride Dry Pipe....... also, you may want to consider using the 37/38cc domes...... ADA Recommends 100 octane with the 35cc domes.

mine is the freeride dry pipe. my main is 140 and pilot is 65 (stock is 70 but its all i had to put in there) it runs great but seems a little rich. i stil have the black funk comin out the exhaust. i rode this morning and when i bail or crash, sometimes the engine acts like it loaded up. but it clears out in a sec or two.

If U have an ultra low pop off it might be working...

If you went from 70 to 65 then you have leaned up your mixture, you would have needed to go to about 75 on the lowspeed......... the Highspeed sounds about right.

when i got the ski, the pilots were 125!!!!!!!!!!! why? i dont know. needless to say, it ran like garbage until it topped out. so i just ordered some stock pilots to have a good starting point. while i waited for those to come in, i HAD to ride so my buddy gave me some 65s and we just tweekd the low speed screw to compensate. it runs like crazy, but then again, i dont know how well it SHOULD run. like i said, it still is leaving that black funk on the exhaust outlet. im really not sure where to go from here, but my friend said that it might be the pop off because of the fact that it loads up after a spill.

If you go back and look there is a small paragraph stating that if you are using a Drypipe, you need go get one size lower...........hence the 35cc dome @91 octane is fine for a wet pipe, but with the Dry you will need to drop down to the 37cc dome. Before they changed the website, it said that "If you are running a drypipe with 35cc domes, use 100 octane......

Dang. I got lucky with my Speedwerx then. I ran it for a while with ADA head and 35cc domes.
