im ordering the 16lb 2lb foam kit (8 cu ft ).

4yards of 50in wide 1708 knytex.

should that be enough glass to go the foot holds, reinforcing the whole ski including the tray and under the pole and redoing the hoodliner?

i figure it should be enough, but really have no idea

Ollie went with 2lb. he's got quite a few 3/4 rolls under his belt one even broken all of his motor mounts. No cracks in the sides from the foam being to week.

* 2lb or 3lb for footholds.

* 4lb or 8lb for under pole mount void

* 8lb or 16lb for smoothing side rails (but I prefer 2-part epoxy with microballons mixed in)

FWIW: I really like 4lb and 8lb because of its shaping ability.

Yeppers. 2 LB is more than enough.

2 lb for the SXI pro. That I have beat the crap out of for the last 2 years. The only area that aint cracked is where the foam is.

2 lb for the SJ too.

No cracks yet.

I did use 8 lb to fill the bond line. But there is only a tiny bit there.
