Abnormal spark issue

My ski was running bad then just finally wouldn't start. After discovering water in the e-box I pulled it and cleaned up all of the corrosion/rust.

Put everything back together and it'll only spark right as I release the start button. I didn't look that hard or discover this before I cleaned the e-box so I don't know if anything changed from before and after the cleaning.

Never had a spark issue like this, just wanted to see what you guys thought.

It is your CDI. Check your grounds and you can try running a ground directly from your battery to the CDI and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't you need a new CDI.

All of my grounds are on the CDI if that changes anything. It's how it was when I opened it. Found out I had an MSD one too haha
