91 SJ 650 electrical box

Hey I have a 91 SJ 650. Trying to get into the electrical box to check coil and CDI because it’s cranking but has no spark. Issue I’m running into is the electrical box hasn’t been opened in so many years it’s damn near impossible to separate the plastic housing. Any tips or tricks out there I should know about before damaging anything?

Never ran into any issues removing the ebox cover. As long as all the screws are out it should pop right off.
