Other 90 superjet vs. 86 js550

Hey this is my first post in here and Im looking for some advice. I have been a member of green hulk, and pwc today, for a few years now for my big waverunner, but now I want to get myself a standup. I am stuck between two that are for sale right now. There is a 1990 superjet that someone put a stock rebuilt 701 in a few years back, and a worx ride plate. The other one is a 1986 kawasaki js550 that has been rebuilt by the owner who is a kawasaki tech. It has a higher compression head, aftermarket exhaust, aftermarket intake grate, ride plate, and a solas impeller. The kawasaki is just now done being broken in. The SJ has had its motor for a few years now, ridden seldomly, both are in great shape visually. I have ridden a stock 91 SJ a bunch and like it a lot, but have never ridden a kawasaki, and have no idea how they are to ride. I weight about 215 if that makes any difference. Which one do you guys think might be a better route? I am leaning towards the SJ even though it is $400 more because im thinking the 701 might be able to lug my weight around a little better. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Bought the superjet tonight. I am going to take it out monday. Thanks for the advice, I think I will be much happier with the SJ. Turns out it has more mods than I thought. It has a solas impeller aftermarket ride plate, and intake grate. Choke delete + fuel primer on carb. An electric bilge, newer turf. And the compression on both cylinders were right at 160#. All stuff I was planning on doing to it anyways, later I will probably do exhaust and some other things later but this will save me some time and money right now. Thanks again guys!
