I didnt set up the engine so I couldn't tell you what head gasket it has. The ski runs great. The guy who built it has been building race skis for 25 + years for guys like aaren Davis. By no means am I saying you're wrong WB1994: what's your concern with it though?

The head gasket guides the water a certain way so you need the waterlines to exit the head on the exhaust side. You could be creating a hot spot on the exhaust side of your motor running the waterlines the way he has it with a stock gasket.

why the exhaust side? most AM heads have outlets on carb side... input is on the carb side. I would be concerned with the head getting too hot as your pulling the water out before it gets to the head, creating a hot spot in the gasket, so i don't question that logic. just curious on the reasoning for water outlet being on the exhaust side.

Time to update the steering and controls. What are some suggestions for steering, bars, grips and a finger throttle. I was looking at a full umi setup for the steeering plate. What bars can you run with it? Is it worth it? Finger throttle: I was thinking protec or umi? For grips I was looking at ourys and Odis..
I would like something that is transferable to alum pole if I go that direction eventually. Let me know what your opinions and thoughts are. Thanks
