300/440/550 90 Kawi 550 question lost power on top end

So I was riding the other day in about 60 degree H20 and noticed the water coming from the "pisser" was extremely hot. Whats the cause of the water being warmer than usual? Oh and it seemes to have lost a little on the top end. Thanks!

clogged cooling line, probably you already tosted the top end a bit - anyways, those piston port motors (pre 91) need to have top end replaced very often to work properly
