750sxi no spark

I know there's been some threads on the issue but wanted to describe what happened. Ski had been running perfect up til Friday. Rode Thursday and ran fine. Went to start Friday and would not start- had no spark. Tore apart ebox Friday night had a little water in it coming from loose starter relay nuts. Put new relay and coil in started up after that. Ride the ski Saturday for about half hour then went to ride again and did the same thing again. Tore ebox apart and went over it a couple times and still nothing. Then tried an ebox of another ski and did not have spark still. I'm thinking it is the stator but am looking for some insight since I have to pull the jugs to get the girdled head bracket off the flywheel cover.
Thanks

I would suggest checking the contacts inside the start and stop switches. I had a similar issue a few years back with my 750Sxi Pro and found corrosion inside the switches. Cleaned them up and she runs like a champ. I now make that task part of my end of season storage process.

Good luck!

You can test the Stator at the Ebox connections. Odds are good its the stator, there is a Service manual under TECH FAQ's that will have the Specs for testing. if it is bad you can send it to JSS http://www.jetskisolutions.com/ for about 1/3 the cost of new. Before you pull it though Check the Plug wires at the boots, over time these Break down. all you have to do is trim a little wire (until you see Copper core) reattach the Boot test. Good luck..
