701 stock head girdle kit??

Anyone seen a girdle kit that uses the stock head? Something similiar to the protect girdle kit? (Pic attached) except for the yamaha head.


On my loaner ski Id like to add a touch of compression to it this winter by milling the head. It also has the beastly wetjet west coast anchor pipe hanging off it. As such I thought it would be nice for insurance to have a girdle kit but can't seem to justify spending the big bucks on a ski that I don't spend much time on

Anyone know there's such a kit? Is there a better option that's most cost effective?

Yes, the protec girdle works on a stock yami head. @Quinc may still have one for sale, not sure. Otherwise your best bet is looking for a used girdled head kit to pop up for a good price.

Check with Protec. Think they still have them. Also check the FB Race Ski pages, there is a guy selling some thst he makes
