701 Industries Flush Kit

I recently installed the 701 Industries Flush kit on my Blaster and made an install video for it. Here are a few things to remember when installing, as well as tools needed and my overall opinion.

-Make sure you pick a good spot that will work with your setup. Choose somewhere out of the way for normal maintenance and where you do not have to worry spraying any water in your Intake.
-Route hoses away from couplers so it doesn't tangle up in the coupler or rub through the hose
-The kit was designed to splice into the factory water feed from pump and uses a Y fitting. When installing the Y fitting pay attention to the direction of the Y in reference to the line to the pump and the other end going to the manifold. The way the fitting is installed in the line you have two different ends of the fitting that are at two different angles in relation to the hose for the flush kit. Make sure that the Y is in the position to direct the most flow to the manifold and not bake through the pump. This is shown at the end of the video.
-There are multiple flush kit routings out there and this can be adapted to those various routings as well as various Watercraft.

Tools Needed

Drill
Drill Bits
Flathead Screwdriver
8mm Socket (1/4 drive)
1/4 Extension
1/4 Ratchet
3mm Allen Head
Razor Blade or similar to cut hose

My opinion of the product is that it is a fantastic way to make a nice clean and easy to use flush. The bracket holds the fitting firmly in place, and the added valve is nice to keep you from having to run back and forth to the water to cut on and off. There is plenty of hose to run the unit in the Blaster and all of the needed hardware is included in the kit. The install is quick and easy, just watch how you install the Y fitting to make sure the Engine gets the most water through the Y. As for the fitting for the hose, they can be picked up at your local hardware store or a big box store in the garden center. I have since converted all of my hoses and nozzles to these quick connect fittings because they are easy, work and no more losing those stupid rubber washers when switching nozzles. I am looking at buying a few more to convert the rest of my skis.

Please excuse the odd diagram in the video, I was having some issues with GoPro studios converting my other diagram I made.
