701 CDI on a 650 MOTOR

Anyone ever run a Stock 701 CDI on a 650 motor??

CAN the extra RPM rev limit cause damage to a 650?

I know people install CDI's on 701 motors without any REV limit but I never heard about it being done too a 650.

6M6 CDI box (650 models) 6500-6600 limiter works on 61x system

61X CDI box (701 94/95) 7050-7150 limiter works on 650s but not 62T systems

62T CDI box (701 96+) 7050-7150 limiter works only on 62T systems

Can a 650 CDI be reworked to remove the rev limiter, like the 701 can?
