Thanks for the help.

I need someone to take a caliper measurement for me.

This 701 motor had the larger bendix washer ( for the case side) installed incorrectly on the cover side. That washer is now malformed and probably not Oem.

I will have to fabricate a washer to fit.

I don’t know the O.D. or thickness. The center i will drill to fit - if you have the I.D. too it will help).

I assume it is stainless.

Please and thanks in advance ..I don’t want to waste a day on such a simple stupid thing. Bc3

Thank you - best i can find stainless washer right now is so dang close i don’t think it’ll be an issue.

Measures :

.997 OD - smidge larger but back of bendix is flat

Thickness is .0455 but spring on other side of would allow for more thickness i believe

ID drill will be 15/32

Good to go?

Here’s what was on bendix that caught my eye :

Yeah you’ll be good… it’s only .0055 thicker, so no big deal and your good on diam too…

For ref I have an engine that can’t run the rear washer due to a machining anomaly in a billet case and it works fine
