I m trying to figure out why my motor is over heating. It is a SN ,I want to know if the thru hull line on the exhaust side is a inlet or a exit.I had a line running from my pro tec pipe to it but plugged it up and added a pisser from the pipe instead. It is pumping water really good but when I run it a while and turn it off,it steams out of the pisser.

The motor is so hot you can't hold your hand on it for more than a second or two.None of my skis have ever ran that hot and I don't think its supposed to spurt water and steem out of the pisser after you turn it off for a few seconds.

sounds like your routing is wrong and not pushing water through the motor. lookup a diagram on this site for your pipe and if you have single or dual cooling(thinkin you got single)

Run the 8 plugs as suggested. That is the original plug. The 7's are hotter than the originals. And if you have a problem with fouling is the only reason to ever run a hotter plug. The more power a motor has the colder the plug you want to run so it pulls the heat out of the motor. Read up on NGK's website before swapping plugs out. There is much to be learned there.
