Super Jet 701 61x or 62t

Hey was looking to see about a price on a 701 I wanna do a swap on a 650 I'm bout to pick up but was wondering where good place to buy and what all needs to be changed in I the Cdi rev limiter and exhaust
But is that all I'm not yo experienced but I'm not a moron as well anything helps

62t will be better for top end and 61x better for bottom end. Best is to have the 62t cases(Dual carb) and the 61x cylinders. Either will work, only thing you will need to change is your cdi to a 61x cdi. You can get one from Jetmaniac. You will also need to change the jetting on your carburetor if you are using the 44mm carb from your 650 engine.

If you can find an old yamaha or wetjet 700 sit down jet ski cheap on craigslist the engine will drop right in.

You don't need to change your 650 cdi if you go with a 61x 701. All your 650 electronics and flywheel will swap right over. The 650 cdi has a lower rev limit but works just fine unless you really need the extra rpm. Having said that, I run 650 electronics in my SN 61x/61x.

How much of a difference is the rev limiter change like is it worth the extra money or is it almost non existent?

Depends on the pipe, porting etc and what your engine is built for.
