66e in a wb1 or superjet?

I’ve seen a couple of posts from years ago and was curious if anyone is still running one?

If so how does it perform, can you backflip it?

I’m currently nearly done with one myself and wanted to see if any others still exist.

At the moment I’m just needing to source an upright carb conversion kit and a hull.

Currently have the following parts sourced (motors just about ready to drop in) riva rave valves, R&D M-16’s, XS1200 manifold and a PFP clone pipe.

It’ll be the next project on the chopping block once the 2 built 1200R’s are done.

Search for wdk 927. Can flip almost anything in the surf or a big enough boat wake. Not going to be able to flat water flip a wb1 without major hull modifications.

More power equals more altitude and short hulls rotate faster. It takes a lot of both to do a flip from flat water.

You’re gonna need some fat nuts and some fat wake to flip a wb or a superjet with a 800. A buddy of ours used to have a 800 in a superjet clone that was about 40lbs lighter with a laydown center bleed and horizontal carbs and it ran violent or so I’ve been told. Any 800-927 and up is easily flippable in any am hull. I stopped running my 927’s cause they shake like a paint mixer and you can’t get parts. Hit like a freight train set up right tho.
