650/X-2 650sx stator gasket/seal

Where the heck can I get a seal for the stator cover? Thanks! Im sure ebay has it but I don;t know what to search for...

You need a flywheel cover gasket. And get some yamabond 4 to put around the gasket surfaces.

I still cant find this gasket anywhere, someone please help... it is a big o ring for the whole side cover

If you can find bulk plumbing packing that should work that's what I have used on 440's just put the seam on the top.

Well I just re used my old one and put some sealer around it. When I found out that it actually is not supposed to be filled with oil, I was cool w/ re using the old one. This is my first ski and my motor that came in it had that compartment that the flywheel/stator is in full up with oil!!!

There should never be oil in there, if so your crank seals could be bad or the previous owner might have poured oil through the inspection oil that looks like a cap

Some people pour oil in there without knowing what they are doing. Just put some grease on the o-ring.
