well you can buy rebuild kits...

OR for about the same price you can buy a complete good used pump.. then just bolt ON n GO

yep that's my dilemma, looks like i can get all the parts needed, but, there is a sleeve inside the pump im guessing were both the bearings butts up against. The cone side is good, but the prop side has about ¼” material beating away. Can I still use this pump?

The rear bearing carries thrust loading and the front only radial loads. The front bearing is positioned by the shaft spacer once the rear is against the pump housing. So, all you need to do is make sure the front doesnt hit the housing when the impeller is tightened or else the bearings will be overloaded in thrust.

i was thinking something to that effect (affect?) also, thanks for a better technical explination ! but looks like the housing is no good. the new bearings slide in by hand, didn't need to use a press. i'm sure that's not good, correct? spec's for 6303RS call for 47MM OD (1.8504 in), i measured 1.85 in ...
