Hello guys,
new to the site as well as the stand-up scene. A buddy bought a 650sx and i've had a great time riding it so i bought a 300sx for cheap with plans of doing an engine swap up to a 650.
Story is, ive come accross a 650 sx engine that i would like to trade for...engine has 0 hours since the top end has been rebuilt with wiseco pistons/rings and he has put a high compression head on it as well. I read online that high compression heads would require 110 octane race fuel. Just wondering if this is true or if i could get through withjust running regular pump gas or even 91/93 if i had to.
thanks for the help and i hope to not be a bother with n00b questions!
