Mods for this season are as follows, modded stock intake and with an adapter plate from Zig mounted a 44SBN and a set of reed boosters. Ditched the jetworks battery and the stock waterbox, installed a Bad bones resonator in the front of the tank and a Coffman resonator Compliments of Mad Scientist in the long rubber tube, installed rear exhaust.I put in a Deka etx9 battery to replace the Jetworks.
Today I lopped 2.5" off the hull with an angle cut and glassed it back up, then I stuck the ride plate up to the hull, marked it and cut it off flush with the hull and did a new D cut on it. I have a 180lbs compression head on the way here, should have it by the weekend .
The next mod is going to be front sponsons, repainting and returfing, I should have the sponsons done by the Smith lake freeride.Glass and paint work on the rear of the ski will be done by the weekend.As it stands now I am in the 270-275 lb range on this ski.

There is about a 14 year gap here because I was banned for over 10 years , so it is what it is , deal wit it .

The tubbies were put on , the back was chopped , steering was changed and so on and so forth , I also knocked a hole in the bottom at one point riding it in a small pond and repaired that .
I pulled it out of the weeds today , this looks like my best bet to ride at the freeride this weekend , I know I can get back up on this one after falling off .
The motor is in the 300SX hull but I also have a spare engine I need to check out , luckily when I pulled this out everything was left in the hull , so no parts searching . bolt her in and go , I have a few things to take care of like turf , steering bushings and dirt dobbers in the cooling lines but no big hurdles that I can see as of yet .

I cleaned it up and sanded it with 800 grit to get rid of some of the nastiness , I put a few stickers over some holes in the hull in various places , I didn't really try to cover up any of the war wounds , it's a survivor , it's been put through hell and it shows .
After sanding I hit it wit UPOL 1K clearcoat on just the top deck , the bottom I will sand and buff , ,it has Kirker urethane on it so it will shine up nicely , this was painted in 2008 and it has never seen anything but sunlight since then , no cover , no garage , no nothing , it will probably only see a couple of more rides this year .
I will get the engine in it today and the turf and steering bushings done tomorrow then off we go .

The ski didn't make it to the ride but I did and I got to meet a lot of nice new riding buddies so it's all good , my toe hasn't quite healed up yet anyway , so back to the ski .
I did some foam repairs , then I laid down a layer of Yoga mat and some blue camping foam on the dash , it wasn't padded before and it just looked funky to me , I am about to lay down the bottom layer of turf , this turf really isn't as wide as I need it to be so it's going to be a challenge to make it look decent , don't expect anything wonderful .
The glue on this Chinesium turf is utter crap as is all PSA IMHO so I just ignored that it was there and doused it with Dap weldwood red can and went with it , I had to wait till today because the humidity here was not working in my favor trying to glues this stuff up.
The yoga mat had a bubble looking side and a scratchy looking side , I put the bubble side down and the scratchy side up to give it a better grip to the turf , it may or may not matter IDK , the bottom turf is glued on , it's raining here yet again and I will post pics tomorrow.
I just need it to make it till I get another hull ready to go then I will decide this skis fate .

Pretty much done , I need to go get some superglue for a few places but I think it turned out ok , I am kinda digging it but next time I do one I will be using real Hydroturf , this stuff is not as much fun to work with and the pics make it look better than it actually is. This here ain't no trailer queen , it's a rider .
