my lil bro has a 650sx that has some carb problems. for the first start we have to really prime the carb. once it starts it runs fine but to start it we take the f/a arrestor and hold hand over carb throat while cranking the motor. this sucks fuel into the carb and starts it. i have also seen my brother prime it by pouring fuel into carb to start. the ski is stock and the carb should be stock too. do you think the low speed circuit could be clogged?...but it runs fine after it is started so that shouldnt be a problem right. could it be the fuel pump not building enough pressure? or maybe pop off is sticking?
