650 swap

If I convert my js550 to a 650 can I just use all of my 650 parts and put them into the 550 hull? I don’t have many 550 parts so it would be nice just to easily swap everything over.

Yes you can put a 650 in your 550 hull. You'll need an engine adapter to bolt the 650 engine to the 550 bed plate. I've seen people put the 650 electronics in the 550 ebox. You'll want a 550 pump with a straight 17 or 18 pitch stainless impeller for the 650. You'll also need a 550 engine coupler depending on which adapter plate you go with. The Rhaas plates have 2 mounting holes which allows the engine to set back 3/4 of an inch which allows use of 650 coupler.
