650 Superjet props

I have a 93 Superjet that has a Riva red pipe, and a few other small things done to it. I was wondering how big of a difference I would notice from changing from a 13/16 Skat to a 9/17 Skat? I put the 13/16 on this winter, but I just found a potentially good deal on a 9/17, and wouldn't mind having two props to try out. Thanks

Don't know about the 9/17, but I'm definitely convinced the Solas I prop (14.5/18) with a WetWolf freestyle cone (plus a B-pipe) can wake up a 650 SJ...! Nite and day difference from my stocker...

Sweet. Yeah I'm expecting my 13/16 to help a ton. I'd like to have a spare prop, maybe this 9/17 would be nice, or even better than the 13/16.

Careful with those large pitch differentials - if you don't have the engine to support the low end, it will not give ya the low end you think. I've got a Skat 11/19 on my stock 02 Superjet and I hate it - I was kinda glad I sucked a rock into it at the end of last season so now I'm forced to get a decent one. I imagine a 9 would be even worse.

the 9/17 is a good impeller i just pulled one from my ski. yes there are better ones out there but if you can get a good deal go for it. you can always try it and keep it around if you mangle your other impeller.

Cool, so it should be fairly similar to the 13/16? I mainly want it so I can run it and see for myself how big of a difference the numbers actually make, and have a spare prop if something bad happens to the other one.

I have a 9/17 skat. It was $50. Thats the only reason. If it sucks, I'll be looking at something different.

Running it with a ported, 1 over 650 setup. Should do just fine.
