Super Jet 650 motor swap, cooling lines / front cylinder getting HOT???

I just swapped the motor in my 650 squarenose, (was sopposed to be a 61x 701 but found out later that it is a 6m6 motor with a bored cylinder and 61X head on it) got it all back in the ski and running BUT when I run it on the hose the front cylinder is getting very hot while the rear is like luke warm and barely warm to the touch. The ski sounds and runs fine but Im not sure if I have lines routed wrong or if there is a blockage in the motor.

The cooling system is routed as follows: From the pump to the bottom of the stock exhaust, there are two lines on the top of the exhaust manifold, one runs to the head, one is a flush kit. The only other line is a very small line from the front of the head to the front of the stock pipe. There is no pisser. Ive tried it a few different ways but the front cylinder keeps getting hot so I shut it down and I dont want to ride it until I get it figured out. Any help would be very much appreciated!

my buddy has another 650 squarenose, his has a protec pipe and head so the cooling lines are a little different BUT he is getting water flow from the head to his pisser where mine is going back into the stock exhaust. When I pull mine I am getting water from the exhaust to the head so the water is flowing the opposite way of his.
