Super Jet 650 factory exhaust on a 701?

Let me first say that I have scoured this forum for the info I'm looking for with minimal success. I have a 650 sn right now with a full factory exhaust but I'm looking to swap in a 701 this winter. My question would be what, if anything, from my current exhaust setup can be reused on a 61x? I've only got one season of riding under my belt so please bear with my lack of knowledge at this point, I'm trying to learn here lol . I assume that everything on the 650 exhaust is smaller than that of a 701. IF my current exhaust will work with the bigger motor, would the size difference, in say the chamber, make a huge difference in power output? Would the difference be noticeable enough to justify spending the extra hundreds of dollars on a new factory exhaust? thanks everybody

I used a stock 650 exhaust on my 701 for a whole season. It fits right in like stock. Yes, it robs power, but it will still be way better than a 650

your manifold with the 61x gasket should be pretty close, your 650 factory headpipe is somewhere around 44.5 mm as well as the top of your manifold open that up as well to 47mm that's what a stock factory pipe gasket is at that should get you close ..
