PUDDLE - BLASTER
Dudes , I plan on fitting a 701 engine with twin carbs from a 2003 superjet to my 1993 , 650 sj . Will i need to also fit the 701 exhaust , waterbox & cdi unit , impeller etc..? Any advice appreciated.... Thanks.
650 -> 701 (twin carb) engine swop.

The 650 electronics will swap over as long as you use your 650 flywheel. You need to swap to the 701 exhaust but the stock waterbox is fine to use.

How much of the 2003 Superjet do you have available? The more you can swap over, the better. I would run the 2003 electrics and exhaust at a minimum. The other stuff is optional. Be aware that the SN waterbox is a fibreglass and glue abomination and will probably self destruct in the near future due to age. Factory Pipe made a straight fitment alloy version (I have one on my 'ski). I've heard the roundnose waterbox can be made to fit but I've never tried it myself.
