Freestyle 62t case porting

Planning on doing a top end rebuild, thinking of sending cylinders to xmetal to convert to there 771 arm ripper, or getting cylinder from manic, Ive looked on here didnt c anything, what porting do i need to do to my 62t cases, other than gringing down casting inperfections.

they gotta be epoxyd to. myswell jus send the hole motor out. to xscream or jetmaniac. ull get it shipped back all together an ready to drop in. for me it wasnt worth it dickin around tryin to do the stuff my self in my messy garage when i could just send it to someone (jetmaniac) who does this stuff all the time and will do it right there first time.

list of all the stuff jetmaniac does for his big bore kits, nice guy to do business with and like i said him and blue do the stuff all the time so its really not worth the time tryin to do all the work yourself when one little mistake can skrew up your hole motor

I hear ya d, now im confused as to what cases and cylinders i have, on the sticker by the flywheel case it says 64v and on the factory head its stamped 64u. so i dont know whats up.

That's just the engine code that represents the combination of the parts. You have what you think you have. Search 64U and you will see this has come up a few times already, myself included years ago.

yeah its 62t/61x, just threw me off why it was marked different than my raider. thanks guys. prob just gonna send my motor to manic, think itll b the best and cheapest route, not sure if i need the 718, or 778 bb. im 5'9 240, gonna shorten my ski -2 or -3, il b useing it for mainly flat water, gonna try and make it as light as i can make a stock rn hull.

if you are looking for the whole package, case porting will net you a bit more power. It is a few dollars more than just cutting the cases to accept the big bore sleeves.

yeah i understand that, what do they port on the cases, the intake side?

yes they open up the intake side and grind out the cases up in the front by the stator area as well.

Xscream does very nice work on their case porting. I had it done for my 865 and the work was very clean.
