61x cases porting or cleanup

i did some searches on the "other" site, but could only find stuff about the 62t, even a 61x thread turned into a 62t thread???
anyways what can be done to help this case breathe?? i noticed that where the cases meet in the reed area, that the upper case has an abrupt transition to the lower case, so i figure making that more of a ramp instead of a drop off would help. but what else any why??? pics???

I've read in the past that the size of the reeds are a big restriction on the 61x so why bother porting the case. I'm sure there is more power in the case than in stock form.

i never did get any info on 61x, jss said he had pics of them but when he sent them they were 62t.

yup, your thread was the one i refered to...i was all excited when i started reading it, but then it just turned into the T thread

hey i'm trying to get some power!!!! just leaving this thing stock would be a big jump from what i've got in the ski right now!!!

actually i just decided to leave mine stock. i cleaned up the casting defects and parting lines and called it good. keeps the case volume small. just concentrated porting my exhaust and intake.

i'm running a 650 right now, so this is a big step anyways
