FX-1 61x and 62t Electrical Questions

I was wondering is the 61x electrical system (ebox, stator, flywheel) better for freestyle then the 62T system because I see a lot of guys who run 61x electrical systems? Or do they perform the same and there is no difference?

Main reason some run 61x is: 1. the flywheel is lighter in OEM form 2. They are normally cheaper and more available. Some will say either is better but honestly always seemed exactly the same to me.
