550 to 750 conversion problems

ok, so i have a 1989 550 hull and ive droped in a 1994 kawasaki 750 ss (sitdown) engine. i have been having problems with it not wanting to go past idle. so i took the carb apart to rebuild it and i ordered a keihin cdk ll carb kit and it came with THREE pop off springs! ive been looking for charts or color codes or any information on what spring to use, the person who had this ski before me rebuilt the carb and thats when ski started messing up.
if yall need any more info, just ask, but any help would be AWESOME!

do your high speed/low speed screws turn? I have and one break in the carb and it did the same thing. Just something to check if you havent already. I dont know about the springs

j/w do you have enough room for the fuel tank? Is this conversion worth it? sounds like a cool idea:wall:
