300/440/550 550 timing

I've spent 30 min pouring over the manual and have come up empty.

Anyone know how to check the timing on a 1984 js550? It's got a jetsport head, SBN44, and mariner pipe, if that matters.

Nevermind. Found it in the manual under maintenance.

Find TDC. Rig a rigid pointer pointing to the "T" on the flywheel at TDC. Use timing light to check for T at TDC.
