i have a 93 550 and couldnt find a fuel filter anywhere on the thing. did these come with an inline filter or just an internal screen?

in 93, all they had was the screens at the end of the pickups in the tank.
for added insurance, you can add a universal inline fuel filter. jsut be sure to use one for a watercraft application. DO NOT use a std small eng filter, ( like from a lawn mower, ect) or one from a car. most of these have paper elements and are too restrictive.
