YOU CANT RENT MY SKI

We loaded up the skis and off we went to canyon lake.Clear clean water you could see about 15ft thru water.It was nice to see what we skiing over for a change.The deer were all around we saw youngins that were smaller than my boxer.The kids ran the skis till they were out of gas.
The only mishap was we were out floating in this clean clear water about 30yards from the bank when a big green snake surface and scared the crap out of us.It was about 5ft from us.I have never seen my son swim fast enough to plain out with a life jacket on.My wife came off here raft and ran across the water.I started to swim off when I relized my daughter was in a tube and was not coming out of it for love or money.So with one eye on the snake and another on my daughter we swam off to safty.I think the poor snake must have had a heart attack from all the screaming.
That same night we went to the dock to fish for catfish,a small boat pulled up to the boat ramp 3guys got out and went to there truck(more beer)while one was in the water w/ the boat.They all climbed in and off they went.They made it about 15yrds when all 4 started screaming like school girls and all jumped out of the boat and swam to the dock yelling about a snake in the boat.Drunk rednecks swimming is pretty funny to see.They sat at the dock for 20 min or so till the boat floated to the end of the cove.I asked if they were going after the boat the big sorta of sober guy said Hell No the snake can have it till morning.The really drunk one says I got my 410 snake charmer in the truck.All I could think about is this drunk redneck blowing holes in the bottom of this boat:banghead: So they hung out watching us fish and drinking.You gotta love TEXAS:arms:
