Looking for some input... I am looking at purchasing a 300sx/701 conversion ski. The hull is shortened and rockered in the front, shortened around 6" in the back, carbon is visible in the hull. It has a 650 Kawi pump, stock 701 superjet motor, and a superjet pole, shortened 2" with X-metal steering. Looks like a stock superjet waterbox, and a Kart tank, I am guessing around 9 liters. It looks like the glass-work was done well, at least in photos anyway...
Couple of questions for those with experience:
How long will that smaller tank run? obviously that is a subjective question due to the variety of riding conditions and styles, but seriously, will it run for at least an hour?
Will that hull handle mild waves? Or will it be so short that it will only be good in flat water? I want to be able to mix it up now and then. I am not talking about taking on 10 footers, just 3 foot chop now and then.
Any thoughts or advise here guys?
