2017 Krash Footrocket 66E Build

Hey guys not new to the site but have never posted anything yet. I bought a Footrocket off one of your members and have been slowly acquiring parts to able to build it. I do have a couple of questions if any of you on here have tired some of this before. I have bought a 1999 gp800, and a 2000 xl800 as the organ donors for my ski. It looks as if the 144 from the gp800 will bolt right in with the correct pump shoe, But my question is has anyone made the 155 pump from a xl800 fit by changing the impeller housing and nozzle?

The xl800 155 stator might work once bolted up to a 155 waveraider style wear ring... Maybe... I'd start by getting a normal 155 wear ring and see if they bolt together.

You'll also need some bedplates to bolt the 800 engine into the krash hull, and hopefully the exhaust fits.

Yup your right. I have a bottom end with mounts on it , and the krash bed plates are to short. Gonna see if i can make some. And thanks for the waveraider advice. Ill post a wtb waveraider 155 wear ring.

So this is kind of a on and off again project. Im also in the middle of restoring an Mustang. But here is some progress with questions if thats okay

Also looking for a better way to mount the ebox then just drilling holes threw the hull and sealing them up any ideas ?

On the nozzle, One fitting facing forward is for the siphon bilge and the other is for the streamer thing that shoots water up in the air.

The box looking thing on the stator facing forward is you water supply line.

That is the most common way to mount an ebox. Cold Fusion makes a bracket you bolt thru the dash, then mount the ebox to the bracket on the inside. Not a lot of choise’s. Anyone else have an idea
