2016 flush kit

I just snagged up a new SJ and im impatiently wanting to take it to the coast.... i am curious about making my own hose for cooling. Owners manual does not explain where the port is and limited info on the web...
From what i understand, the port is a flathead silver nut/plug. I see that plug, can i simply make a ballvalve/shutoff valve coming from that port into a coupling for a water hose? If not, where is ot and can i rig something up?

My "weekend" is wed-thur hoping to take her out tomorrow if possible. But i can stick to freshwater if it will be impossible...

That kit just looks too easy to make lol... hell i would throw in a ballvalve and have a better hose than that one... is it that flathead plug by the exhaust? Think i can rig one up?

That picture was just for reference. That kit would be too easy to make yourself. I'm sure you can get that fitting at your local hardware store. But if you look at it you will see it is reduced down to 1/8" or so. I'm sure that is for a reason so I would put a restrictor in the hose.
