I'd go with a 550 engine. I've heard the power curve is more linear.

^^^lol and this starter bendix is on eBay right now! What kind of condition was the hull? At least I am getting a feel for price. What could I except to pay for a fully built stock SXR 800?

Roundnose superjet hulls go for around $1200 here, I'd bet you'd get $1500 for the SXR.
